The Region of Waterloo purchased land at the north-east corner of King and Victoria streets in Kitchener for a transit hub. The location is walkable from Q Condos and a very short ride on the ION light rail.

The future transit hub will connect everything in Waterloo Region providing seamless access to multiple modes of transportation to connecting you to north Waterloo, south Kitchener, major shopping malls, universities and college campuses and major urban centres of Toronto and London. It will serve as the hub for the following commuting options:

  • ION light rail transit
  • Grand River Transit
  • VIA Rail
  • Expanded GO train & bus service
  • Greyhound
  • Coach Canada
  • CarShare
  • Pedestrians and cyclists
